The only school project I really remember was in middle school, where we had to write a story.
Of course, I didn’t just write a story—I wrote a whole book, with chapters, and bound it using string and cardboard, and drew the covers.
I don’t know if that book still exists; my parents will have saved it if it came home.
I still have some of my GCSE art too—still lifes, portraits, and suchlike.
But that book was the thing I remember, although the details have faded…
