Day 6: Family traditions

It is December, so forgive the festive prompts but also they don't have to be festive-related.

What are your family holiday traditions?

Maybe that's Christmas, or Hanukkah, or Thanksgiving, or Eid, or just a day that's special to you.

Use it as a jumping off point for today's writing.

You might wanna write about how some traditions carry on, and others change.

For example, Joe and I have a Christmas tradition whereby on the first Saturday of December, we'll put up the Christmas tree and decorations, the fire will be lit, and we'll have Die Hard (the finest Christmas movie) playing in the background, while we eat too many crisps and chocolates.

Set your timer for 5 minutes, and off you go! If you want to write for longer—have at it, friend 🙂

TTFN,

Vicky
