I wish I could nap.
I can’t nap. I don’t even sleep well in my bed at night a lot of the time; my brain is so busy. (I’m working on that.)
But napping? Can’t do it.
I’m extremely sensitive to, well, everything—noise, light, smells, touch, things I imagine… and I can’t sleep in uncomfortable positions, so I never sleep on planes either. (Although now I have noise-cancelling headphones, I’m looking forward to trying them out on a flight to Canada later this year!)
My husband Joe can nap anywhere, anytime. He says he’s a champion sleeper, and he’s right; he is.
I’m a champion Joe’s sleep envier.
How about you?
Do you nap? Why, and how? What does it do for you?
If you don’t nap, why? Do you wish you could? How can you make it happen?
Set a timer for 5 minutes and let’s figure this out.
Happy writing!
TTFN,
Vicky
