Day 21: World TV Day

I used to be one of those people who bragged about never watching TV.

It wasn’t a good look.

Like somehow that made me a better person.

(It obviously didn’t)

I missed out on loads of good stuff (although I have had the pleasure of catching up with said good stuff over the years).

Now, I love a good binge on Netflix.

It’s another form of storytelling, and although my milieu is books, I love all forms of storytelling.

It’s pure snobbery (and ableism and classism and elitism) to say the only way to “read” is through a physical book.

So here is my haiku to TV:

Oh moving pictures
Words and images alive
All my senses hit

Set a timer for 5 minutes and write about TV.

TTFN,

Vicky
