Day 21: Poet’s Day

When I was a kid, Poet’s Day meant Piss Off Early Tomorrow’s Saturday.

I’m fairly sure this international day isn’t referring to that…

I think it’s referring to, ya know, poets. Who write poetry.

So—what comes to mind when you see this prompt?

What does Poet’s Day make you think of?

Maybe it’s your favourite poem or poet.

Maybe it’s a poem you wrote.

Maybe it’s a poem you want to write—in which case, go ahead! Write it!

Set a timer for 5 minutes and crack on. Even better, come and join us in my live writing Power Hours—you can try it for just £1 for a week right here.

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
