Honestly right now I think Guy Fawkes had the right idea.
Not the mass murder part; that wasn’t cool.
But the dismantling of our government to see what happens — that could work, because honestly they are a total shitshow. Like, genuinely.
Anyway, in the UK we have Bonfire Night, which is a celebration of that time Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament, the little scamp.
Earlier this summer, me and Joe and my friend Misty went to see the Three Inch Fools perform their play The Gunpowder Plot, which was brilliant and hilarious. I realised I didn’t know that much about the plot, or the characters involved.
It was an interesting time, and I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if Guy Fawkes had been successful…
What does Bonfire Night make you think of?
