The internet is full of platitudes about how there’s no such thing as failure blah blah blah.
Well, we all know that’s not true. Sometimes you just fall flat on your face with a capital FAIL and there’s no lesson to be had from it.
But usually, there is a lesson to learn.
So today, your writing prompt is: when did you fail but learn a lesson?
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got plenty to choose from…
Like the time I entered a pole dancing competition but hadn’t put in enough work and practice, and I did not do well, and I felt terrible and cried—and vowed that I’d never do that again.
If I’m gonna do something, I’m gonna put the work in—and if I don’t win, or I don’t do so well, it damn well won’t be because I didn’t work hard enough.
Set your timer for 5 minutes and write away!
Happy writing!
TTFN,
Vicky
