I always love the idea of a costume party, because I have great ideas. But then when it comes to actually making the costume, I fizzle out.
Because busy.
But mostly because I am LAST MINUTE DOT COM.
Last year, though, I managed TWO Hallowe’en costumes. The first was for a trapeze performance as the Corpse Bride, and a rerun for fWrite Night. I was pretty chuffed with my makeup.
The second was my mate Dan’s Hallowe’en party, for which I went as a Pumpkin. I wore my bright orange dungarees, yellow tshirt, pumpkin hat, and painted my face into a Jack ‘o’ Lantern.
I was a grumpy pumpkin.
This year, I have no idea what costume to wear to Dan’s party… I might go as a ghost.
How about you?
What would you dress up as at a Hallowe’en party?
Why?
Set a timer for 5 minutes and scribble away.
Happy writing!
TTFN,
Vicky
