Day 27: Which Spice Girl are you?

I know this sounds like one of those daft Buzzfeed quizzes, and you’re right. It does. Because we can’t be serious all the time.

Also, on the coattails of Britney, I need to declare my love for the Spice Girls.

They were awesome. Still are. So there.

Which Spice are you?

I’m definitely Posh. Not that I’m posh; far from it. I just love the way she’s refused to smile for the cameras although literally every dickhead in the world has had a go at her for “never smiling.”

Newsflash dudes: women don’t owe you a smile.

(Also she does smile.)

I also have her hairdo circa 2007—the Posh Bob, aka the Pob. So that me!

And of course we share a name.

Here’s your prompt: what do you think of the Spice Girls?

I have a lot to say about the whole Spice phenomenon and how girlbands are often derided as being less serious, or frivolous, or whatever. But I’ll leave that for another day.

Also, Harry Styles said it better than I probably could.
