Day 21: Summer Solstice

Welp, it’s the longest day of the year here in the UK!

Lush. Light until 10 pm—and much later if you’re in Scotland.

So tell me, dear reader—what does the solstice mean to you, if anything?

Is it simply a chance to make the most of maximum sunshine?

Do you dance around naked in a pagan ritual? Or just for fun?

Do you make time to be outside for longer?

I try to spend a little more time than usual in the fresh air, enjoying summer, and breathing. Quietly. Which is not something I do often.

(the quiet, not the breathing. I do that without thinking)

So, set a timer and see what pops out of your brain when it’s prompted to think about the summer solstice.

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
