Day 12: National Fossil Day

Fossils, mate. I mean—they’re incredible.

A little slice of live from millions of years ago.

Actual millions of years.

We can see what dinosaurs looked like, and get an idea of how they lived—and we can see that they did turn into birds.

(If you’re in any doubt about that, spend some time with chickens. They’re dinosaurs. Also look at dino fossils and chicken skeletons. Boom.)

I’m a huge fan of fossils, and dinosaurs, and all the work that goes into finding and preserving pieces of the past so we tell the stories of the past.

But over to you—set a timer for 5 minutes and write about whatever comes into your head when you think about National Fossil Day.

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
