Get feedback. Get actionable advice. Get your book moving.

The Weird + Wonderful Hot Seats is for creatives, entrepreneurs, coaches, and consultants who want to write their book (like you) who:

Have been talking about writing a book for so long, your spouse is threatening divorce unless you actually get on with it. Mostly, you want someone who can look your idea over and reassure you “IT IS GOOD! IT HAS LEGS!” (Or, “It’s nearly there—here are a few things you might want to think about!”)

Are working on their book and got stuck, but don’t need a full-on book coach just yet—and want an extra brain to help them figure out what’s got them stuck, and what might get them unstuck and writing again.

Know their Big Book Idea is good and are steamed up over it—but can’t seem to get started. It’d be great if someone could take a look, then point you in the right direction with the one thing you need to just. start.

Learn best while doing, and know that specific pointers can them skip rookie mistakes and stop them going off on side-quests that distract from writing their books.

Love energetic group environments to not only get support from a pro, but also to learn from what their peers are doing (because how much can we learn from other people’s challenges? And cheerleading? TONS).

Are possibly considering joining us for The Weird + Wonderful Book Society Season 3, and want to get a peek at what it’s like inside the book coaching adventure, get a flavour of what’s possible, hear from past alumni, and more…

SOUNDS GOOD? HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

STEP 1:

Enroll in the Thursday, June 16 Weird + Wonderful Hot Seats right now, for FREE (yay!), and bask in the knowledge that you are clearly a Very Brave and Smart Toaster—who’s ready to start their book and will be partying with me and your super-smart buddies on Thursday eve!

STEP 2:

You’ll be prompted to submit your question or content/Big Book Idea for my review at least 24 hours before our call (i.e. a synopsis of your Big Book Idea, your book outline, 3 pages of a chapter, the back blurb, titles + subtitles, a mindset question, etc.)

NOTE: There are 5 spots available for this 90-minute hot seat round, with bonus casual Q&A at the end. If I receive more than 5 submissions from participants, I’ll choose the ones that best benefit the whole group.

(Even if your submission doesn’t put you in the hot seat, you’ll still learn SO MUCH from other people’s questions via this format. I’ve been in the audience for plenty of hot seats during my biz adventures, and just listening in is like getting “contact coached”… without being in the limelight. Hurrah!)

STEP 3:

If you’re in the hot seat—when your name is called, you’ll get immediate, direct feedback from me, live, to dig into your book idea, get you unstuck, tighten your snippet of book, and help you feel confident that your book idea is a GOOD ONE and you should totally go ahead and write it. Even if you aren’t hot seating, you still get to absorb all the perks of hearing your peers get their questions answered and ideas critiqued.

STEP 4:

The Weird + Wonderful Hot Seat recording will be delivered to you within 24 hours so you can catch up on what you missed, revisit your notes, and dive into all the treasure being spilled at your own pace.

SIMPLES! NO EXTRA WORK, NO EXTRA COMMITMENT OR ENERGY FROM YOU.

JUST WEIRD + WONDERFUL MAGIC, IN A 90-MINUTE BOX.

“BUT VICKY, WHAT EXACTLY CAN I BRING TO THESE WEIRD + WONDERFUL HOT SEATS OF YOURS?”

Up to 3 pages of anything you’re working on right now relating to your book, including:

  • A synopsis of your Big Book Idea and any concerns or questions you may have
  • Your book outline and Table of Contents—does it flow? Anything missing?
  • A portion of your book—perhaps the start of a chapter, or the introduction or conclusion
  • The back blurb, or about the author, or book sales page
  • Any blocks you’re experiencing about writing your book—let’s dig into what’s got you stuck, and get you moving again
  • AND MORE

WAIT WAIT WAIT: WHAT’S THIS ABOUT THE WEIRD + WONDERFUL BOOK SOCIETY OPEN HOUSE?

After our hot seat sesh, I’ll be inviting you to peep behind the scenes of my private 3-month book coaching adventure, The Weird + Wonderful Book Society.

(Hot seats and group Q&As are a core part of the experience, so I wanted to make sure you could take it all for a test drive.)

If you’ve been considering joining our book writing community, or been thinking about book coaching to get your book done and published and changing lives in the workd, this is your chance to:

  • Discover what life is like inside W+W, and get a taste of the momentum this type of adventure can help you build and maintain
  • You’ll get a chance to hear directly from W+W alumni and community members about their honest experiences
  • You can ask me, and my members and former members, any questions you might have before you decide

FYI: For this round of W+W, I’m only enrolling 8 writers (2 of the 10 spots are already spoken for!)

SO! If you’re curious about W+W, be sure to join us because spots will likely get snapped up fast.

My last question for you is:

ARE YOU JOINING ME FOR THE WEIRD + WONDERFUL HOT SEATS, FRIEND?

If you’re in, pop your details below… I am so excited to see you in the hot seat!
