Day 30: What’s on your left? Write about it in great detail

Simple prompt today.

Turn your head to the left. What’s the first thing you see? No cheating—be honest.

Now set your timer and write about it for 5 minutes. Don’t tell me there’s nothing to say—get real close and look for the detail. Here are some questions to consider:

  • Why is that object there, on your left, in your room?
  • When did you acquire it?
  • What made you choose it?
  • Did someone else choose it?
  • What feelings does it provoke?
  • What colour is it? Texture?

Set a timer for 5 minutes and go. You’ll be surprised how much you have to say about the most mundane objects...

Happy writing!

TTFN,

Vicky
