From moving pictures to words on a page—what are you currently reading? Right now?
Are you enjoying it? Why—or why not? Recommend me your book (or warn me off it).
I’m currently reading The First Woman by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, which I am really enjoying. It’s about a young woman growing up in 1970s Uganda and it’s super-relatable because some experiences are universal. And fascinating because I don’t know much at all about Uganda (yet).
And my nonfiction read is The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker, which is GREAT. All about how to gather together with purpose, whether it’s a work meeting, a wedding, a birthday party—anything.
Your turn: set a timer for 5 minutes, write, and then tag me.
Oh and if you’re struggling to get going with this one, I have a really cool bunch of writing games for you to try. You can find them here.
Enjoy
TTFN,
Vicky
